This drill is used in extremely demanding environments: it must operate in underwater depths up to 656 feet and is controlled offshore from a ship.
For the energy supply and control of the drilling head, as well as the data transmission and display monitor showing the penetrative depth of the drill rods, igus®’ Chainflex® CF27 servo cables are used with two shielded control pairs.
